Privacy Policy

WriteFlow is provided by LEGILEGACY. This policy describes the extension and these static support pages. WriteFlow helps adult professionals rewrite, translate, and draft text using their own Gemini API key.
Information processed
When you open the assistant for a field, it reads that field or your selection into a preview. When you click Generate, the preview text, optional instructions, chosen language, and writing preferences are sent directly to Google's Gemini API. Source text may include messages, communications, and any identifiers you choose to provide. The extension does not automatically read full conversations or social posts.
Your API key authenticates these requests to Google. Test connection sends a sample sentence, and Refresh list requests model information. WriteFlow does not send the page URL, browsing history, or unrelated page content in its Gemini request payload.
Local storage
Your key, model, language, writing preferences, enable setting, and excluded hostnames are stored in your local Chrome profile. The extension does not sync them. Local storage access is restricted to trusted extension contexts. This is not a password-encrypted vault; someone with access to your browser profile may be able to retrieve stored credentials.
WriteFlow keeps drafts and suggestions in memory while its panel or workspace is open, without writing message history to extension storage. Your website may separately save drafts under its own policy.
Google processing
Google receives requested content, the API credential, and connection information inherent in an HTTPS request, such as the connecting IP address. Its retention, security, and data use are governed by Google's applicable terms.
Google's unpaid services may use inputs and outputs for product improvement and human review. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information through unpaid services. Billing-enabled projects have different data-use terms. Read the Gemini API terms before choosing your project.
Developer access and sharing
WriteFlow has no LEGILEGACY-operated message-processing backend, advertising system, or analytics. We do not receive your Gemini drafts, results, or key through the extension. We do not sell extension data or use it for advertising. Google processing described above is a third-party service you connect to for writing assistance.
Support and website hosting
If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use that information to respond and resolve the issue, and retain it only while needed for support or applicable recordkeeping obligations. Do not send API keys or confidential drafts. Our email and website-hosting providers may process support messages or normal connection logs. These bundled static pages contain no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or cookies; hosting or an embedding website may have additional practices that must be disclosed by its operator.
Your controls
You can edit text before generating, use copy instead of insertion, pause the extension, exclude hostnames, and limit site access in Chrome. Remove key in Settings deletes the locally stored key; uninstalling removes the extension's local storage. Revoke the key in Google AI Studio to invalidate it. Removing local data does not delete information already processed by Google. Contact support about information you emailed to us.
Eligibility and updates
WriteFlow's Gemini features are intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and over, in locations and under service tiers permitted by Google's terms. The extension does not verify your age or billing status automatically. This policy will be revised if data practices change; material changes should be reviewed before continued use.
